I. Cách dùng one, another, the other
Danh từ theo sau các từ này phải ở dạng số ít
1) One/a chỉ đơn vị một người hay một vật.
· One person is holding a saxophone
· There is a woman who is holding a saxophone.
2) Another một (cái )khác,được sử dụng như tính từ, theo sau là danh từ số ít.
· Another woman is holding a baton
3) The other một (cái) còn lại cuối cùng,được sử dụng như tính từ, theo sau là danh từ số ít.
· The other woman is learning on a keyboard.

1) Other vài(cái) khác,theo sau là danh từ số nhiều
· Other students are from England
2) Others những thứ khác nữa,được sử dụng như đại từ giữ chức năng chủ ngữ trong câu,theo sau là động từ
· Others are from China
3) The others những (cái) khác còn lại cuối cùng,được sử dụng như đại từ giữ chức năng chủ ngữ trong câu,theo sau là động từ
· The others are from Australia
